The Shure BLX288/SM58 provides two dependable wireless handheld microphones through one compact dual-channel receiver. Designed for singers, presenters, houses of worship, schools, venues, and event production, the system combines straightforward BLX operation with the familiar vocal response of Shure SM58 microphone capsules.

Two SM58 wireless microphones in one complete system

Each BLX2 handheld transmitter is fitted with a Shure SM58 dynamic cardioid capsule. The SM58 emphasizes vocals while reducing unwanted sound from the sides and rear, making the system suitable for live stages, speaking applications, worship services, rehearsals, and mobile events.

Simple dual-channel wireless setup

The included BLX88 receiver operates both handheld transmitters simultaneously. One-touch QuickScan frequency selection helps identify an available operating frequency, while separate group and channel controls allow each microphone channel to be configured independently.

Reliable operating range and extended battery life

The system provides an operating range of up to 300 feet under typical line-of-sight conditions. Each BLX2 transmitter operates for up to 14 hours using two AA alkaline batteries.

Flexible receiver connections

The BLX88 provides separate balanced XLR microphone-level outputs and 1/4-inch instrument-level outputs for both channels, allowing each microphone to be routed independently.

H11 frequency band

This version operates within the Shure H11 frequency band of 572–596 MHz. Wireless frequency availability varies by location and operating environment. Verify that the H11 band is appropriate for the area where the system will be used before purchasing.
