Why it’s worth it
-
Replace four long XLRs with a single Ethernet run for a faster, cleaner setup.
-
Bi-directional: route signals either way as workflows change.
-
Works for balanced analog and digital (AES/EBU) plus DMX lighting; passes phantom power for mics.
-
Accepts shielded CAT5/5e/6/6A/7 to help block interference in busy venues.
-
Compact, rugged metal enclosure built for production environments.
Tech specs
-
I/O: (4) XLR + (1) RJ45.
-
Size/Weight: 8.27" L × 2.76" W × 3.43" H; 1.19 lb.
-
“Feel Good” safety note and compliance info available from On-Stage (RoHS/REACH/Prop65 resources).
Best-fit applications
-
Stage drops and sub-snakes (drums, keys, choir risers), mobile church/AV, school auditoriums, DJ/event rigs, corporate AV, and DMX lighting runs (with shielded cable). For DMX reference on Cat5/6 distances and shielding, see ETC’s guidance.
Setup notes
-
Use shielded Cat cable and keep network cable separate from mains. (ETC notes up to 300 m is acceptable for DMX on Cat5; analog audio runs depend on environment.)
-
Pair with compatible 4-channel Cat-to-XLR breakouts/tails on the other end (e.g., Radial/SoundTools style systems—concept overview).
